Taken in by Mr Earnshaw from a young age, Heathcliff is loved by his
adoptive sister, Cathy, but despised and mistreated by his adoptive
brother, Hindley and his friend Edgar Linton. After Mr. Earnshaw's
death, Hindley reduces Heathcliff to a mere servant and continues to
humiliate him, despite his growing affections toward Cathy. Before long
Heathcliff decides to leave, and begins to plan his revenge on the
families that have hurt him...
