WINE LIES. is part testimony, part Holy Spirit filled encouragement and
part practical tools created to challenge and equip the reader to reach
for greater freedom from alcohol over-use. We examine the place of
alcohol in our lives, in our society and in the church body. Do you want
more freedom? Have you felt a recent nudge from the Holy Spirit? Do you
feel God has more for your life? Do you want a closer relationship with
God? I wanted more of God in my life. I wanted breakthroughs. I wanted
transformation and victory. But something was hindering me, holding me
up, like I was stuck in heavy spiritual traffic. When I finally gave up
alcohol, the dam broke and then came the flood of transformation. This
habit held up holiness and kept me distracted, even feeling disqualified
for Kingdom work. If you too have found yourself asking these same kinds
of questions, I invite you to step onto the path and examine our
testimonies, stories and Spirit led exhortation and encouragement. Who
knows? Maybe you will find a path that leads to even greater freedom in
Christ. In every life there comes a time to reflect on the past, a time
to take an honest inventory of the present and a time to seek purpose
for the future. Purpose cannot be found in complacency. Purpose is found
only in God's will and exists well beyond the status quo. Purpose
requires change. Purpose requires hard decisions. But inside purpose joy
flourishes abundantly.
