This book is the logical sequel to the first volume (1962-1967),
chronologically presents the evolution of uniforms, equipment and
weapons of the American soldier during the Vietnam war, during the
period 1968 to 1975. This second volume deals with the 1968 Tet
offensive, the maximum commitment of U.S. forces in 1969, incursions
into Cambodia in 1970, then the gradual withdrawal of US troops
(1970-72). And finally the tragic outcome of this conflict with the
evacuation of the American Embassy, which marks the end of the war in
Vietnam in 1975.
