This text is an aid to helping students of literature to appreciate
these three books in the African context. They help to know the various
forms of conflicts that have persisted in Africa in the post colonial
era. The first text, Clothes of Nakedness' catalogues domestic conflicts
in the Ghanaian society. The second text which of course has a hint of
national conflict unravels the saying that a white man is a white man
but a Black leader who want to rule like a white man is atrocious,
tyrannical and hypocrite and that is exactly what we see about the post
colonial African leader, His Excellency, whose reign is characterized by
pretentiousness, absolutism, and atrocity which ends all three major
characters in death. Read and examine how the authors accounts,
heightened by the various version of the narration on the same subject
provides diverse voices which when reconciled make the accounts credible
