This research was conducted to examine the relationship between
communication satisfaction and communicative teamwork within the
Malaysian organizations. The study was based on Herzberg's
Motivation-Hygiene theory that explained the relationship between the
factors such as achievement, recognition, responsibility, growth and the
nature of work to that of communicative teamwork. A survey was conducted
on 357 respondents, representing the organizations in the Klang Valley
area. A set of questionnaires were used as the instrument for data
collection and the gathered data was analyzed by means of the
Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). The study showed that the
increase in the knowledge of communication and its elements will
obviously lead to communication satisfaction. This will thus contribute
to the process of organizing and other organizational and communication
behaviors such as communicative teamworking. From the study, it was also
found that the indicators of communication satisfaction namely;
achievement, recognition, responsibility, growth and nature of work were
positively related to communicative teamworking.
