The Keeper is an absorbing sci-fi story that takes place during the time of the next ice age, thousands of years after men have left Earth and colonized the stars. "The Crown" is stolen, and "The Keeper," and his great dog Brave, start across the ice to get it back and kill the thieves, if he can. The story features great descriptions, a great plot, and a fascinating main character. A gem of a tale by one of the true masters of the genre.
