Louis comes from the planet of Poochadore where dogs live and behave just like humans. Travelling through space on the back of a dragon called Longwei, he comes to live with Lian Hua Peony at Number 3 Full Moon Crescent, Dragon Grove. He becomes her pet and dearest companion. Longwei is a stone dragon who lives on the roof ridge of a pergola in Lian Hua's garden. The garden is a magical place where dragonflies flutter and three goldfish play beneath the water lilies in a terracotta bowl. Longwei can change in an instant into a real dragon and this makes it possible for him to help 'sort out' any problems that occur.
