This workbook is for clients undertaking professional therapy from Renee
Mill's Anxiety Solutions CBT program. Overcoming significant levels of
anxiety that affect your day-to-day life takes effort, practice and a
little help from a professional. This workbook is designed to accompany
therapy and help you work with your practitioner to develop new ways of
thinking and feeling -- effectively "rewiring" pathways in your brain to
creative a better functioning you. Based on the well established
principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), you will learn about
the relationship that exists between cognition (thoughts), emotion and
behaviour in the primitive parts of your brain and how to use strategies
to replace negative thoughts with "smart" helpful thoughts along fresh
pathways. Your practitioner will help guide you through 10 sessions
covering 22 different cognitive and behavioral tools and encourage you
to complete a daily monitoring diary and anxiety management worksheet.
Completing the diary and worksheets regularly will help ensure a
successful outcome.
