Rickford James Shonk Jr. was born 1979 in Orrville, Ohio. He was raised on the coast of Virginia in Chesapeake. Rickford later moved to Ohio and then to Italy for a couple of years. He now resides in South Texas, Beeville; works as a welder and enjoys writing poetry and woodworking, hiking, and reading.
