On Green Python details the results of four years of research into the
conservation and ecology of Morelia viridis. This was the author's PhD
topic while he was at the Australian National University. It represents
the first study on the species, and is significant in its breadth and
extent of coverage. The book covers growth and aging, reproductive
activity, behaviour and activity patterns. It also solves the adaptive
evolution of different colour morphs for juvenile and adult individuals.
