This fine work contains everything you'll need to know about the art of
taxidermy. Part I contains several chapters on the subject of
collecting, skinning and mounting birds. The second part contains a
wealth of information on collecting and mounting mammals. There is also
a final chapter on the subject of reptiles, batrachians and fishes. This
antiquarian text was originally published in 1883 but is still of huge
value today. It has been republished here with a brand new introductory
essay on taxidermy.
