Lillian Meisner was a humor and political cartoonist from the 1960s
through the 1980s. While her political cartoons gave her greater
recognition (including being the first woman admitted to the Association
of Editorial Cartoonists in 1975), these humor cartoons have proved more
timeless. They originally appeared as a weekly feature in the Chicago
Tribune Sunday Features Section from 1965 to 1975. The multi-panel
strips appeared as full-page articles. The second edition includes 20
additional cartoons.
