After making many short films and documentaries, French director Bruno
Dumont burst onto the feature film scene with his first full-length
movie, The Life of Jesus in 1996, which won several awards, including
a Special Mention Camera d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 1997. This
book, in Dis Voir's Cinema Script series, includes the novel, which
was used as the basis for the film script, as well as extensive film
stills.
