The thunderstorm activity during pre-monsoon summer season associated with lightning, which influence the rainfall occurrences associated with lightning and cyclone during the SW monsoon period. Slow and fast response data validation and PBL studies and compared with evolution of PBL, radiation and energy balance components, validation of surface layer parameters using statistical model.
