collections of spectacular dresses are a triumph. Fanny is tried of the
antiquated clothes sold in her family's stores and wants to begin a new
life in Paris as a fashion designer. But once there she'll only find
success as a model, and even that dream will crash and burn.
In 1946 her daughter Lisbeth is fighting for survival in Frankfort, a
city totally ravaged after the bombings, and for the fashion house of
