This is the amazing story of the 80 +years int he life of A. Ray
Calhoon. Some of his earliest memories on the prairies of Montana in the
1890's include the unexpected appearance of a Sioux Indian a the cabin
door while his father was away cutting wood and of a prairie fire which
roared within a half mile of the family cabin. Ray's life was never dull
from his school days through employment experiences in agriculture and
industry, Service inFrance in the first World War and his career of 43
years in education, 30 of which were spent in Utica, NY.
