The research investigated Teachers' Perception of Information and
Communication Technology and its impact on Teaching Learning Process.
Survey method was employed in the present study. Population of the study
was High and Higher Secondary School Teachers in and around Chennai
city. Six tools namely ICT and Teacher Attitude, ICT and Computer Uses,
ICT and Teacher Anxiety, ICT and Teacher Avoidance, ICT and Teacher
Competency and ICT and Classroom Learning Productivity were used to
collect data. The data were collected from 253 teachers drawn from
fifteen schools at random. The data was subjected to different
statistical analyses. The major findings emerged from the study are
Gender, Age, Internet facilities in schools, Computer Uses, Teacher
Attitude and Teacher Competency have significantly contributed to
Teachers Perception of ICT and its impact on Classroom Learning
Productivity. Also, Monthly income, Faculty Discipline and Teaching
experience did not play significant role in Teachers' Perception of ICT
and its impact on Teaching Learning process.
