Matthew Vaughn's 2007 fantasy Stardust, based on the novel by acclaimed author Neil Gaiman, was one the highest grossing films in the UK. An instant hit with fans of fantasy and science-fiction films, Stardust features an all-star cast including Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Ian McKellan. The contemporary score was by rising British composer Ilan Eshkeri, and won the International Film Music Critics Association award for 'Best Original Score.'
