Green Belt is a story about the people who live in that protected area
around London which helps to prevent urban sprawl and gives the illusion
of a rural countryside. Paul weaves a tale of crime, confusion and
courtship as James, a young clergyman, attempts to woo Marie-Helene, a
reluctant Swiss language student. Eventually we begin to realise that,
despite their rural pretensions, the motives and morals of those living
in the Green Belt are little different from those of people living in
the neighbouring city.
