Flexography is a method of direct rotary printing that uses resilient
relief image plates of rubber or photopolymer material. The plates are
affixable to plate cylinder of various repeat lengths, inked by a cell
structured ink metering roll, with or without a reverse angle doctor
blade, carrying a fast drying fluid ink to plates that print onto
virtually any substrate Flexo Guide was designed to help beginner
Flexography students go through the main pre-press steps for a basic
one-color design. Students will be able to use this guide to help them
in building their die layout, exposing, cutting and mounting their plate
before a press run. The guide also gives small tips and notes to explain
certain parts of the process.
