English for Business Communication is a short course for people in or
preparing for work who need to improve their English in these key areas:
socialising, telephoning, presenting, taking part in meetings and
negotiating. With its modular approach it is easy to fit into any
teaching programme. As the title suggests, the focus is on developing
speaking skills in the contexts of day-to-day dealings with customers,
clients a11/2/97nd suppliers of services or goods. Great emphasis is
also placed on developing listening skills. Integrated writing tasks are
included where appropriate and reading comes in the form of informative
texts on business communication skills and typical business documents
such as faxes and letters. The course is in colour and accompanied by a
Teacher's Book and a set of two Audio Cassettes or Audio CDs.
