Design is challenging, but harder still is learning methods to approach
the act of design. Written in his final year of a Master of
Architecture, Emotive Architecture: A Design Methodology is the
cumulation of Keenan Ngo's architectural education and a previous career
in structural engineering. It offers a design process analogous to a
mathematical vector and is influenced by Japanese architects and
designers. The process aims to create architecture that evokes emotions
in a multisensory spatial experience for a sense of place and a sense of
being.
