"Don't Look Back" is a story about Roger Work, a man convicted of murder
and sentenced to die. His life is spared because of a technicality. As a
free man, he sets out to redeem himself and to help another troubled man
along the way. Things come to a head when a mutilated body is found in a
vacant lot. Roger and Malik are determined to find the killer. Told
against a backdrop of the tunes known as the "Sounds of Philadelphia,
"Don't Look Back" takes the reader on a journey through the musical
wonderland that is the very heart and soul of Philly.
