Diet to Detox came about after first helping my children to regain
health. I then started helping my patients. I've realised during this
time that having a healthy gut is crucial to our wellbeing. Symptoms of
chronic ill health such as fatigue and aches and pains are due to
chronic inflammation. Where does chronic inflammation come from? An
unhealthy or 'leaky' gut! So, if we correct the gut, the inflammation
goes away. But how do we correct the gut? This is the big question,
which leads to another question. Why did the gut get sick in the first
place? The answer to this is Toxins! Toxins in our environment and in
our food help to damage the gut. Dealing with the toxins is the first
step on the road to recovery. Adding delicious health-giving fermented
foods is the next step. I developed a step-by-step roadmap, to help my
patients to embark on the journey back to recovery.
