Because of my own sad experience of trying to play the recorder, and understanding music, I want children to be able to play and understand music, and learn in a fun way, no more dreadful black notes [is it-A- OR -C - I don't know, they all look the same to me]. So Mums & Dads, here is my way of teaching your children. Coloured notes, with matching symbols, I.E. THE NOTE -A-IS -APPLE-RED NOTE -B-IS-BOAT -BLUE. ETC. Three teachers have said, "what a great idea, and fun way to learn music, the children will love it". It is written in three octaves, so they have all the notes. When children are told ''Stop, you'll never learn", sadly it knocks their confidence, yes?
