Have you ever wondered how the Channel Islands came to be connected to
the rest of the world through the telephone, television and internet?
Well, this book discusses the engineering and political decisions that
brought international communications and broadcasting to the islands,
following the sometimes intriguing and convoluted paths taken to get
where we are today. It traces over 150 years of technical and political
developments that enabled the people of the islands to communicate with
others elsewhere.
