China 8: Zeitgenössische Kunst Aus China an Rhein Und Ruhr. Contemporary Art from China Along the Rhine and RuhrHardcover, 1 April 2016

Eight cities, nine museums and approximately 120 artists come together to create one unique art event focused on the contemporary art of China. Painting, ink drawings, calligraphic works, sculptures, installations and videos present a comprehensive overview of recent Chinese art. The number 8 which appears in the title of this large-scale exhibition project refers not only to the eight participating museums, but also to the important lucky number, with which the Chinese associate imminent wealth.
