At Agincourt is one of the most popular historical warfare novel,
written by G.A. Henty. He has given a realistic picture of turbulent war
time, between France and England during the year 1413-1415. A 16-year
old lad Guy Aylmer comes to join Sir Eustace de Villeroy, in feudal
castle, Normandle. Soon King ordered to sent Lady Margaret de Villeroy
with her children to Paris as hostage, for Sir Eustace's allegiance. Guy
Aylmer got the command to protect the Villeroy family. Paris was stormy
that time terror and furry was reigning. Soon the city was captured by
the 'guild of the butchers' known by their uniforms 'White Hoods of
Paris'. They attacked the house where Lady Margaret with her children
and Guy Aylmer reside. After a fierce battle white hoods were defeated.
Aylmer rescued the family and escaped with them from the France. After
that he returned, fought in the battle of Agincourt, peace restored, he
earned honour and glory.
