The ancestors of Sir David S. Owens, can be traced back to about 900
B.C. His ancestors include sea kings of Norway and Orkney, Kings and
Queens of Scotland and England, and the royal families of Europe and
Jerusalem. They even include several Knights Templars and the King of
Jerusalem. In the United States, David is related to two Presidents
(John Knox Polk and Franklin Pierce) and many colonial families who were
important to the founding and expansion of the United States. A
Freemason, David walks in the steps of several of his Freemason
ancestors including President John Knox Polk who was a 5th generation
Freemason. Men fought in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, Mexican
American War, Civil War, WW1 and WW2, as well as the VietNam War. From
Boston to California, the Owens ancestors were part of the fabric of
