Around 1570, in Conflans, Madeleine de L'Aubespine and Nicolas de Neufville-Villeroy welcomed poets and had their verses copied into an album. This edition presents almost two hundred poems written in French, Latin, Greek, Italian, and Spanish by some of the greatest and least-known writers of the time.
