The findings of the investigation provide overall picture about the
entrepreneurial orientation of beekeeping farmers in terms of their
socio-personal, socio-economic, communicational and psychological
characteristics. In further, the results can be utilized to plan and
execute the programmes for boosting up milk production which have been
the focal point in the current year plan. The study will also be helpful
to extension workers in identifying entrepreneur for implementation of
development programmes and encouraging the farmers towards beekeeping
farming. In short, this study may be of great value not only to
extension workers but also to scientists, administrators, planners and
policy makers towards attainment of notional objectives of raising the
levels of honey production. The findings of the investigation will also
be helpful to the planners as well as administrator in formation of
plans to tailor the entrepreneurial training programme for agricultural
development and prevail over the constraints perceived by the farmers.
