The Awesome Women series: Activists: Courage box set features three board books to inspire young readers to be anything they want to be. Each story pays tribute to an awesome female activist by recounting her struggles and challenges, and detailing her success.

Each female activist is brought to life through interesting nuggets of information, such as the fact that Amal Clooney had to flee her country when she was just a toddler, that Greta Thunberg sees her Asperger's Syndrome as her superpower, and that Michelle Obama was Barack Obama's mentor at a law firm before he became the 44th President of the United States.
