In this book, the same lovable characters, including Granny Z, that the
reader has encountered in the first two books are still present and just
as lovable or disgusting as before. And like the 1st two books, Granny Z
tells the same wonderfully engaging children tales for all children to
help lift their heads-up. The time table is set in a very difficult to
explain time period of racial turmoil and continuing racial injustices
spiraling out of control taking place everywhere. Everyone is either
working hard or angered by not having any work. It is a time of many
powerful events challenging America and the Cold War is blistering to a
fever pitch. The Soviet Union and America are engaging each other in cat
and mouse games of dangerous war tactics where young men and women are
being killed away from the General Public's eye. A Soviet Nuclear
Submarine Base being built on the coast of Mexico only adds to the
furious nature of this novel and the Cold War.
