This memoir is a journey of an ex-Seminarian immigrant who escaped at the onset of the Salvadorian Civil War and gradually realizes that lessons taught in the Seminary gave him the foundations for adapting to the American society. He does this by making some philosophical and ethical compromises and walking away from absolute dogmas and truths.
