through the city streets? You give chase! But as any fan of cinematic
chases knows, there's more to a chase than simply running faster --
there's all those obstacles that get in the way. A dense crowd of
gawkers, a fallen tree, a perilous chasm, and loose shingles on a roof
can all pose perils to those involved in a chase. And at the same
time, dangerous opportunities abound to close the gap, be they a
death-defying crossing along a tightrope or a narrow squeeze through a
gap in a wall.
With GameMastery Chase Cards, all of these perils and short cuts are
put at your fingertips. By laying a line of these cards down on your
table, you can track each character's progress through a path fraught
with perils -- along with all of the die rolls needed to avoid or
navigate these unexpected dangers. These three chases each consist of
17 different cards (representing a total of over a hundred possible
perils). Lay out a desperate pursuit through a crowded city, a
dangerous race through hostile wilderness, and a nerve-wracking run
